The Schools and Libraries Division of the FCC oversees the E-Rate program that began in 1998. All school districts that file yearly applications can receive huge discounts on their broadband & networking infrastructure needs. MCSD historically qualifies for an 80% discount on these services and networking equipment. The following list shows what this program has done for our school district over the past twenty-three years. This program has assisted the district in maintaining the largest wide area network in the Monroe County.

Total committed funding to date is over 1.5 million and total dispersed to date is over 1.2 million.
